• 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2c. butter
  • 1/4 t. vanilla
  • 1.5 c. old fashioned oats
  • ** (you can use instant but results will not be as awesome)
  • 1/3c. raisins (optional)

How to prepare:

  • cream together butter and sugars- 30 seconds to 1 minute
  • add egg and vanilla- cream away -just another NY minute
  • slowly incorporate flour, b.soda and salt *don’t over mix this can alter the cookie texture
  • fold in oats and raisin
  • using a 1.5 inch scoop-scoop cookie dough onto parchment lined cookie sheet bake and enjoy! No chilling necessary!
  • *if you like a cakey oatmeal cookie chill dough for 30-60 mins
